Stop & Go

From the beginning Stop & Go has screened and supported artists who have diverged from their formal practice (sculpture, printmaking, photography, painting) to make discoveries in animation. Through a series of micro-grants, we have funded new works by Kathy Aoki, Paz de la Calzada, Tucker Nichols, Joyce Nojima, Mel Prest, Victoria Scott, and Andy Vogt. We are grateful to Intersection for the Arts, Southern Exposure Alternative Exposure and the Zellerbach Family Foundation for their generous support in making our granting possible and enabling us to support diverse new works.
